About
La Clara is a stone shop in Holliston, Massachusetts. We keep the slabs on our own racks, cut them in our own building, and set them with our own crew.
Who we are
La Clara works out of a warehouse and fabrication shop at 275 Hopping Brook Rd in Holliston. The slabs you look at are standing on our racks, the saw that cuts them is in the next room, and the people who set your countertop are the people who cut it. Nothing gets handed off to a subcontractor halfway through the job.
That matters most on the day something needs a decision. A wall that is out of square, a seam that would land in the wrong place, a sink that showed up different from the spec sheet. When the shop and the install crew are the same company, that call takes minutes instead of a week of phone tag between three vendors.
Our fabrication team brings over 20 years of hands on experience in cutting, polishing and setting stone. That experience is the reason we can be blunt with you about what a given slab will do in a real kitchen instead of just selling you the prettiest one on the floor.
How we quote
You send the measurements. Numbers written on a sketch, a cabinet layout from your kitchen designer, or clear photos of the room with a tape measure in the frame. We price from that, so there is nothing to schedule before you know what your project costs, and there is no new line item waiting for you on install day.
Fabrication and installation sit inside the same number, along with one standard sink cutout with a polished edge and your faucet holes. A second bowl, an upgraded sink model, or a decorative edge profile is quoted separately, and it is quoted before you approve anything. The edge guide shows which profiles are included and which are upgrades.
Once you approve the quote and place the 50% deposit, your material and your spot on the fabrication schedule are held. We template your space digitally in about 3 to 5 days and install roughly 5 to 7 business days after that. Both are estimates, and they move with material availability and the schedule at the time.
What is different
Most of what people dislike about buying countertops comes from the gap between the company that sells the stone and the company that installs it. We closed that gap by never opening it.
Showroom
The showroom and the shop share one address: 275 Hopping Brook Rd, Suite #4, Holliston, MA 01746, open Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Bring a cabinet door, a paint chip and a few photos of the room, and we will pull slabs and stand them up under the lights for you.
Stock moves. A slab sitting on the rack this week can be on somebody's island the next one, so the slab catalog is worth a look before you drive out. When one stops you, send its reference number with your measurements through the material request form and we will get back to you.
Based in Holliston, we work across MetroWest Boston, including Middlesex and Worcester County, and out into Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. If you are still deciding what the room needs, start with materials or with the services we fabricate.
How pricing works
We quote off your real measurements, not an average. You get the full number in writing first, and it does not move unless you change the scope.

We are based in Holliston and work across MetroWest Boston, including Middlesex and Worcester County, plus Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Projects in New Hampshire, or more than 60 miles from our shop, carry a travel fee, and we tell you upfront if your address falls into that range.
